i can't believe OBS has already ended!
it was fun but really really tiring
nvr regret going :)
met new friends and learnt new stuff
DAY ONE
nth much abt this day....
met my grp members( other than cwds the other sch was naval base sec)and my grp was group 1: amundsen!!
our instructor was naf
then we found out amundsen and grp armstrong will work together..haha happy leh..cos our sch took up both of these grps
we did stock check, alittle high element and learnt how to pitch a tent
then we cook our dinner
blah blah blah
went to sleep...in the tent...shared tent with kylie and merlyn(naval base)
DAY TWO
woke up at 5am i think...unpitch tent then wash up
then after breakfast, we went for rock climbing :))))
it was fun
then erm we went to pack up and headed off to campsite 1( we were at campsite 2)
so we walked with our heavy bags(provided by the camp) and then we changed and went to kayak.
it was more of a training
so nth much also
then we bathed and took our stuff as it was raining
and our dinner....was not cooked by us..yay! haha
eat until full full then we went to have a grp meeting to noe where to go for the expedition on the nxt day.
after that went to pitch tent and hardly slept........stupid slope....
DAY THREE
woke up and unpitch our muddy tent
went to wash up and then we packed up and ate breakfast..cooked by catering service again!
we played games against armstrong and it ended with a tie( it was fun!)
later we started our land expedition( i think i left out abit in front...)
ok...so 1st checkpoint was lead by kylie....
at tat checkpoint we did a challenge and headed to the nxt after finding the obs quote
then 2nd checkpoint was lead by izz and his team
at tat checkpoint we ate...heh...hungry
3rd was by nicholas and his team
and last was by me and my team...
then when we were reaching it started to rain so we did not complete
headed to campsite..it was by the sea :D
we pitched our tent and had dinner....
then had briefing for the sea expedition
blah blah blah
sleep....
actually sleep until very shiok for 2 hrs leh..then RAIN
our tent the fly sheet fly....wth! haha
then merlyn and i went out in the rain to get it back
then the three of us were shivering la.....
i woke up a few times...then sometimes merlyn also woke up
so we sat there and shiver...
kylie wake up tat time i sleeping..
so...yeah..can't sleep
DAY FOUR
it was still COLD!!
we quickly changed into fresh long sleeved and track pants..stopped shivering
then we went to unpitch tent and had our pathetic breakfast( cos forgot to bring the other food we left at campsite 2)
then we load our bags onto the boat of our instructors(motor boat of cos)
then we went into our kayak.
very very tiring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my arms almost broke...
so freaking happy when we reach the campsite 2
then wash up kayak and paddles
then we packed up our stuff and had lunch...
then pack pack pack pitch tent and bathed...
dinner time!
instructors say we suppose to cook for the opposite grp...so for my grp was armstrong and armstrong cook for us
then we cook must be creative one..so rite main course my grp cooked shrimp maggi with can curry chicken..its nice leh..haha then appetizer mushroom with chicken soup
dessert...er...nvm
haha then armstrong cooked maggie with chicken soup for main course..appetizer cooked maggi seasoning( chicken) with mushroom and dessert was oreo crushed and cooked with milo
then in the end...
the food we cooked was for ourselves.............................................
haha
oh well
we shared anyway...
after dinner we went to sit in front of the our store and played games....got ...er...kylie minyi yuying david noel(naval base) and junhao(naval base)
then we got chased to go to our tent....
in the end we sat outside and eat....( kylie minyi yuying david noel junhao marcus james and kway teow(? haha we call him tat) (naval base)
and talked also..then the boys except james and kwayteow sleep........( they say stay up the lor)
haha in the end the rest of us go talk talk..then slept in the end..zzzz
very shiok leh..1st time sleep all the way...haha
DAY FIVE
we woke up and unpitch tent
then went to pack our stuff and meet naf
we played games..haha
then we had our usual morning circle but it was our last one..sad..
went for our commitment which everyone has to do
some grps do jetty jump while others do thrust dive
my grp did thrust dive:((((
anyway.......had our certs after that :)
then go take our stuff
blah blah blah...
skip to the part where we take our boat...
james ah...haha sad...he suay only one left alone cos the boat full liao
then when we reached singapore we went to the souvenir shop buy tshirt! we bought the yellow one
after all tat we said bye to the naval base friends we met and james arrived...
we walked to the bus stop with elton( armstrong grp instructor) and said bye to him
our sch ah..nvr provide bus for us.then we take bus ourselves -.-
anyway we took bus 82( the only bus there) and went to habourfront (kylie minyi yuying david marcus and james)
we eat mac and then go marcus' house the playground
play play play..then go home
haha
well......OUTWARD BOUND CAMP.......it will always be part of my life like odyssey..
